Dalyan Iz - trekking gear, art & home design

If you enjoy walking, are interested in Turkish art and design or just enjoy a decent cup of tea then Dalyan Iz should be on your list of places to visit in Dalyan.Dalyan Iz cafe and shop

Opened this spring, Dalyan Iz is based in an old Turkish townhouse with a pretty garden. Here you can enjoy home-made cake, imaginative sandwiches, freshly prepared drinks (our speciality is fresh lemonade) and a pot of real English tea.

Inside the Iz house you’ll find a cornucopia of gift ideas, from rugs and old village furniture to original paintings and books about Dalyan and the surrounding area. There are small items, ideal as gifts (our turtle rings and whirling dervish pictures have been hot sellers this summer) and bigger pieces which would put the finishing touch to your holiday villa. And if you need help getting the look just right, we have an interior design service.

Dalyan Iz is also Dalyan’s first trekking supplies shop. We have a range of trekking and walking equipment, from boots and backpacks to breathable T-shirts and head torches (great for negotiating dark lanes by bike at night!). All our gear is Turkish-made and excellent quality - Inside Dalyan Izand at half the price of similar equipment in the UK.

Dalyan is a great centre for walking with many trails and close proximity to the world-famous Lycian Way. If you want to take part in one of the guided walks offered by local tour agencies but lack the right gear, you can hire a pair of hiking boots from Dalyan Iz.

Dalyan Iz will have its own website shortly and is closely connected to the easyDalyan Internet cafe as Iz co-owner Robbi Atilgan is married to easyDalyan’s Erden Atilgan. Robbi’s business partner Freddy Siva has spent many years working as a tour guide in Dalyan. Together they have a wide knowledge of Dalyan and extensive experience in customer service.

Dalyan Iz is opposite the Junior Ozalp hotel - please see the map linked to our Contacts page - and is open every day from 12noon till 8pm, except for Thursdays when it’s our turn to go to the beach!
